Christopher has over 25 years’ experience in property and construction. Having worked in most of the major cities in the Middle East region over the last 6 years he specializes in commercial, retail and hospitality sectors plus infrastructure and Oil and Gas. Christopher is also co -Chairman of the Middle East Council for Offices, and offers strategic advice on procurement, investment and development management. He is also a member of the RICS MENAT Market Advisory Panel, and an active member of Corporate Real Estate Network (CoreNet). Having spent a number of years in PPP procurement he also advises many clients on strategy, risk, commercial and technical advice for large public sector investments.
Andy has over 30 years of experience in the field of Building and Construction, ranging from structural testing within the nuclear industry to fire testing.
Having established the Dubai Facade Technology Centre and Laboratory in 1997, and operated it for 10 years, he has particular knowledge of heavy structures testing and weather tightness testing of facades, curtain walling and building envelope systems; and business in the Middle East.
Andy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, Fellow of the Society of Façade Engineers (CIBSE) and member of the Glass and Glazing Federation; holding committee positions in the local chapters of these organizations. As a façade consultant he continues to provide input into the GCC codes and is a regular speaker at industry technical seminars across the region.

His current role involves in working with the finest minds in the field of architectural aluminium in the Greater Middle East Markets. One of his key tasks involves extending partnerships with building designers, architects, consultants, developers and contractors.
The discussions usually can range from designing an attractive sliding fold door for a luxury chalet to building up a bespoke aluminium facade for the vertical cities of the future.
Because he is associated with Technal, one of the world’s leading aluminium system manufacturer, his interactions further extend to students in the architecture schools and the wider construction academia. This keeps him extremely in tune with upcoming design trends.
Ammar Alul has been in the Middle East for two decades holding different top management positions in different industries while working for, and with, global international corporations as well as local Middle-Eastern family-owned businesses of varied sizes.
Ammar is currently the General Manager of Schüco Middle East (SME) which is the regional headquarters of Schüco International KG that’s responsible for 18 countries across the Region. Under his leadership and with the efforts of a great team Schüco has achieved the number one market share amongst international systems in the GCC.
Prior to joining SME Ammar worked for Schüco’s local partner, Gibca Group, as the General Manager of AIL Industries.
Before moving to the U.A.E. Ammar lived and worked in the U.S.A. for seventeen years.
Ammar holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Memphis State University in the U.S.A. and a senior management Certificate from Switzerland’s Institute for Management Development (IMD). He is a member of the American Business Council having served for several years on its Board of Directors. Ammar also served on the Boards of Directors of local and European corporations over the past decade.
