Robert Stephens is an Executive Director for Inhabit, responsible for group operations in the Middle East and Europe. He has over 20 years of façade construction experience in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. For the last 15 years he has been heading up specialist façade teams servicing projects in the Middle East and U.K.

Robert has broad experience in the field, working with both concrete and steel construction. He has worked on a wide variety of projects which range from large scale multiple plot retail projects to singular mega high rise projects.

  • Middle East: Dubai Festival City, Limitless Dubai, Ocean Heights Dubai, Vision Tower Dubai, Park Towers Dubai, Central Market (Abu Dhabi), United Tower (Kuwait), Lamar Towers (Jeddah), the New Meydan Race Course (Dubai), Dubai Mall, AMC Mall (Abu Dhabi), City Walk Retail (Dubai), Untied Tower (Kuwait), Meydan One (Dubai), UAE Pavilion, UAE Sustainability Pavilion, One Zabeel (Dubai)
  • UK: Victoria Circle redevelopment, Algate Place

Robert is currently involved with an Expo 2020 projects in Dubai, One Zabeel for Meraas, the new Qatar metro, Muscat International Airport, Marina Capitol towers, Habtoor Residences, and the Saadiyat residential development.

Robert has developed particular expertise with regards to the design and construction of lightweight steel façade structures and warped geometries. He had articles published in the Steel Construction Institute U.K. and the Institute of Structural Engineers U.K. on sustainable design. He has also presented at technical conferences around the world. Currently Robert is on the committee of the Society of Facade Engineers in the Middle East, and is actively involved with its development.
